At the very tip of the Vatnsnes peninsula, there is a seal-breeding ground at Hindisvik. We saw no breeding or young pups as promised, but there was a few idly lolling seals. Our best efforts to lure them in were to no avail.
The gentlemen of our party, straying too close to unseen nests, were attacked by territorial wagtails, adding a bit of drama to our hike.
