July 12th.Here we are in the very nice restaurant of the wonderful Settlement Museum in Borgarnes. Museum curatorship is of a very high standard in Iceland! One of the exhibits re-told the famous Egil's Saga, a tale replete with murder, insanity, Eric Blood-Ax, and a shape-changing wolf-witch. heavy drinking, and an early form of ice-hockey.
We don't know what this felted object was, but we tried it on after lunch.
