Sleipnir is Odin's eight-footed horse, and here is one of his hoof-prints. It's hard to get a picture of the whole thing, but it's a large natural amphitheater 90 meters high, cut out of the dark rock by a series of titanic floods of water from underneath Vatnajokull glacier. It's also full of French birdwatchers, and midges. But it smelled very good--lots of wild thyme--Donna said it smelled like Alaska.
